Hello everyone..

Okay this is some far out stuff. But I went down this rabbit hole the past few hours. Step one, I got crappy ribbon mic, placed D harmonica in front, wrap in sound proofing foam square and tape it snug around the mic. Then ran that mic through my daw input with guitar to midi software. I set it to be very sensitive but only monophonic. Then I set a sustain effect, then a transpose by -1 octave and - 5 semitones when the sound exceeds 50 velocity. But then another one after it with -2 octaves at 80 velocity. Then to finish the guitar to midi plugin effect chain, I set a fixed velocity dialed in near 85. Then that through Halion 6 with a couple instrument voices (exploring this is where the good times reside FYI), Inserted a midi modifier to filter for the F# phrygian scale notes only, as well as more velocity parameters, and you can even do a random + and - semitones at this level too. The end result is a barrel of fun. It makes music just based on where you point it in the room lol

Thank you!
