Re: imitone 0.9.0d

I see final release is down the road ...Just a couple of Questions.
If everyone sang soprano, used the same computer figuration (example.>Mac with Thunderbolt, running Protools) sang in the same key and used the same scale (minor pentatonic scale) Would it be easer to release a ready for sale product?

If yes (To any or all), then perhaps you might delegate some of the burden of releasing a final product on to the consumer.
Requirements for successful use List :They must use a pitch detection  and transpose app. in front of imitone (tc helicon voicelive 3 extreme, or what ever) and so on.

{I realize there are over 60 scales , however 90% of music enjoyed by the American ear are only about 6 of them} It would seem to lock a person to a single scale, the software could simplified and have an intuitiveness built in}

Just some thoughts....

Re: imitone 0.9.0d

Hey, Bill —

Actually, it isn't too hard to support different scales, or different pitch ranges (with the exception of the vocal fry register, which might require special technology).  Platforms (Mac, PC, iOS, Android) can take a lot of work, but I have my own reasons for wanting to launch them together.

My reasoning is that anyone impatient to start using the technology can pick up the beta version; meanwhile, I'll work toward getting the software ready to serve the many different uses people will be interested in in the long run.  Most of the work is done already.
