Processing offline audio and Ableton

Can imitone be used for offline audio? I don't need it for realtime audio, I need to make MIDI data from pre recorded studio vocals. Or is there better alternatives for offline processing with the same concept? Ableton VST doesn't appear to work for me, VST3 does not even show and the VST2 has no GUI and simply pans audio to left when placed down.
