Midi Instruments

AS a total newbie, I have some questions about imitone, and Midi Instruments. I am wanting to make guitar, bass, strings and trumpet sounds. Unfortunately, I don't know how to go about it. Do I need to download these instruments, or do I need a standalone hardware source? Any help or recommendation's GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Midi Instruments

As Yragael suggested in the other thread, you'll want to hook imitone up to a music production program (or "DAW") for any serious use.  There are lots of DAWs out there; common choices for beginners are GarageBand, FL Studio and Reaper.  MixCraft also seems to a popular pairing with imitone, because it comes with a large library of basic orchestral sounds.
