What makes refund requests acceptable?

Hello everyone. imitone caught my attention days ago and i want to buy it so much. But since there is no trial, i am unsure whether i really want to pay 25 bucks permanently.I checked this forum and the creator said refunds are possible if i contacted support@imitone.com. But my real question is this: I think this week i will buy imitone, but what are the requirements for a refund? I mean if i use it for like a week and then decide i don't want it, is it still eligible for refund?

Re: What makes refund requests acceptable?

Hello — Pardon the slow reply.

Currently our refund policy is pretty liberal.  If we decide to cap the period for refund eligibility, it will probably be something like 30-60 days (after which payment processing for refunds becomes much more complicated).

The lack of a free trial is our way of keeping imitone to a smallish pool of early adopters for now.  The software is going to see some big improvements once our fourth phase of research concludes, and I'd rather see a reputation develop around that than what we have now.  Anyway, it's understandable that some early adopters are on the fence about a product they can't try out first.
