Building a universal, human-friendly music interface. ...But first we have to fix the bugs!

Affected users: Anyone using the same microphone in imitone and another "pro-audio" application at the same time.
Symptoms: imitone tracks very poorly, responding with a mess of small, scattered notes -- or not at all. If the headphones button is enabled, the sound is garbled or crackling.
Cause: The audio input is out of sync, usually because of mismatched settings between imitone and the other app.
Status: This is not a bug in imitone, and can't be "fixed" directly.
Instructions: There are a few ways to work around this problem:
1. Use different microphones for imitone and the other app.
(This is the easiest and most robust solution -- imitone is often happy with simple USB microphones.)
2. Adjust the other app's buffer-size and sample rate to match imitone's.
imitone typically requests a 256-sample buffer and the default sample-rate of the device.
Some users report that increasing the device's sample-rate can fix the problem.
In the future I will make these settings adjustable in imitone. I may also attempt to create an "auto-detect" function.
3. Wait for the release of the imitone VST, which will allow imitone to run inside music apps and prevent this conflict.
